These are two small bedrooms, two beds each, common bathroom with shower, some outside space but no cooking facilities.
The beach in front of the house is lovely and easily accessed. The sea deepens very gently making the beach suitable for small children too. Generally speaking, the whole place is particularly popular with children. The bay is very well suited for windsurfing and water skiing. Of course one can also fish and dive. Note the small pier where you can attach a boat or a dinghy.
The villa can accomodate many people. For example three families with two children each. Of course other combinations are possible, too many to enumerate here. If you are really too many, a special open air sleeping place can be used too.
From Athens, one drives to the town of Edipsos. There are two inineraries,
Athens->Arkitsa->(by ferry) Edipsos or
Athens->Halkis->Limni->Edipsos. Count about
3 hours to 3 hours 30' . Then, one drives the last couple of kilometers from
Edipsos to Aghiokampos
There are also busses from Athens to the bay of Aghiokampos. Again, count about
3 hours 30' from the bus station.
Another possibility from the greek mainland is to take a ferry from Glyfa.
Finally, Aghiokampos is easily accessible by private boat.
The house lies within walking distance to some taverns and a supermarket. 6
kilometers to the north-east is the small town of Pyrgos and a little further
the beautiful port of Oreoi with its breathtaking sunset and its nice cafes.
About 20km to the north-east, after the town of Istiaia, is the little port of
Pefki. From there start the boats and ferries to the
Sporades islands.
In the other direction, after Edipsos, one can visit
Ilia, Rovies, and Limni.
A really beautiful nearby tour is
Edipsos-Gregolimano-Lihada. From there one can drive or walk into an
impressive pine-forest.
From the bay of Aghiokampos one can cross with a ferry to the mainland at
Glyfa, near Volos. From there one can visit the famous region of
Pilion Another way to visit Pilion is to hire a boat from Oreoi or even
some fishermans boat in Aghiokampos itself.
Night life usually takes place in Edipsos. There are cinemas in Edipsos, in
Istiaia, in Oreoi and most other places around.
